Students are to finish the worksheet on subatomic particles.
This worksheet was started in class today.
Homework is due for class on Friday, October 29th.

In class we are working on atoms, and understanding of subatomic particles.
The Chapter 2 Test was returned to students on Wednesday.

Questions are due in class Thursday, October 21st.

Science 300 Test

Students will have a test on Chapter 2 Friday, October 22nd.
The test will cover the following sections of the book: 2.1, 2.3, 2.7, 2.8, 2.9, and 2.11. A review will be done in class Thursday to help students prepare for the test.
Everday in class we are reviewing the 30 elements they also need to know for the test.

Homework for today is to complete questions on page 59 #'s 1 to 5.
These questions are due in class on Monday, October 18th.

Homework Science 300

We are learning 30 elements from the Periodic Table. Each student has a periodic table and know which ones they need to learn. In class we have been learning the elements and doing activities to reinforce the learning.

At home students can practice the elements so they can become very familar with them and have more success in the next chapter test.

Science 300

Today students wrote the test for Chapter 1 in the Matter Unit.
Tomorrow in class we will begin Chapter 2 titled "Elements and Compounds". All the lab reports (4 in total ) for chapter 1 have been corrected and returned to students.
