Grade 7 Science

Today we started the next unit in grade 7 science Pure Substances and Mixtures.

The last quiz on the Earth's Crust will be returned to students on Tuesday, December 1st.

Science 105 and 106 Quiz

Science 105 will have a quiz on Tuesday, December 8th.
Science 106 will have a quiz on Wednesday, December 9th.

The quiz is on Chapter 3 in the Matter Unit. A review will be done in class to help students prepare for the quiz. :)

Homework Science 206

Finish descriptions for measuring matter and complete questions 1 and 2 on page 99. This is due for next science class.

Homework Science 106

Complete questions 1, 5, 7, 9, 11, and 15 on pages 100-101. These questions are due for class on Tuesday, December 1st.

Complete the charts and analysis for Lab 2.4 "Liquids Can Be Thick or Thin". This is due for class on Wednesday, November 25th.

Complete the Subatomic Booklet for class on Tuesday, November 24th.

Complete questions on page 241 #'s 1,2, and 3. These are due for next class on Tuesday, November 24th.

Grade 7 Science Quiz

Science 313 and 309 will have a quiz on Thursday, November 26th.
This quiz will be the last one on the Earth's Crust. It will cover the following sections of the book: 4.14, 4.15, 4.16, 4.17, 4.18 and 4.22. A review will be done next week to help the students prepare for the quiz.

Homework Science 106

Complete the first two pages of the work booklet on Subatomic particles. This is due for class on Friday, November 20th.
Any student who did not finish the booklet on the Atom is also to complete it for Friday's class.

Complete questions on page 89 #'s 1 & 2, and on page 138 #'s 1,2, and 3

Homework Science 205

Complete questions on page 51 of your science book #'s 1 to 4. These questions are due in class on Thursday, November 5th.

Complete questions on page 225 #'s 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 7. Homework is due for class on Wednesday, November 4th.

Grade 8 Science Quiz

Science 206 and 205 have a quiz on Thursday, November 12th.
The quiz will cover the following sections of the book; 1.12, 1.13, 1.14, 1.15, 1.16 and 1.21.
A review will be done in class to help the students prepare for the quiz.

Grade 9 Science Quiz

Science 105 and 106 will have a quiz on Monday, November 9th. The quiz will be on chapter 2 in the Matter Unit. There will be a review done in class to help students prepare for the quiz.
