Complete the analysis for lab 5.7 Viewing Images in a Plane Mirror. Lab report is due in class on Friday, March 26th.

Grade 8 Science Quiz

The first quiz in the Optics Unit is next week. Science 205 will have their quiz on Monday, March 29th and and 206 will write their quiz on Tuesday, March 30th. The quiz will cover sections 5.1 to 5.7 in their science book. A review will be done in class to help students prepare for the quiz.

Grade 9 Science

Science 105 and 106 have started the Unit on Reproduction as of Monday, March 22nd. They will return to finish the Electrical Unit at the end of April. Currently they are working in chapter 5 learning about cell division.

Homework Science 313

Students are to complete the assignment on Animal Heat Control. They were given 4 classes in the library and computer lab to do this assignment. Today was the last class in the computer lab. Any student who did not complete the assignment during class time is to finish it at home. The assignment is to be passed in during class on Friday, March 26th

SIS Science Fair Set Up

Students who are participating in the SIS Science Fair will be setting up their projects after school on Tuesday, March 9th from 3:15 to 4 pm. Judging for the fair will begin at 9 am on Wednesday, March 10th.

Grade 9 Science Quiz

Due to the snow day today, the grade 9 science quiz will now be on Monday, March 8th, Day 2 of the school cycle. The quiz is on Chapter 10 in the science book.

Grade 7 Term Projects

All projects were due last Friday, February 26th. We have started presentations and have 2/3 completed as of today. Once all presentations are done we will continue with regular lessons and book work.
