Science Quiz New Date

Due to the storm, the science quiz for grade 7 and grade 8 will be held on the same day of the school cycle but a new calendar date. The new dates are as follows:

Science 206 and 209 will write their quiz on Day 2, Tuesday, March 4th

Science 313 and 309 will write their quiz on Day 3, Wednesday, March 5th

Grade 7 Science Quiz

Science 309 and science 313 will have a quiz on Day 3, Tuesday, March 4th.
The quiz will cover the following sections of the science book;
1.8, 1.9, 1.10, 1.15, 1.16, 1.17, 1.18, 1.19, and 1.21.
A review will be done in class and all students will have a corrected review sheet to help them prepare for the quiz.

Science Term Projects

Term projects for Science 309, 313, 206, 209, 105 and 106 are due this Thursday, February 28th.
Students were assigned these projects early in January. Science Fair Projects are also due the same day.

Grade 8 Science Quiz

A quiz will be written on Day 2, Monday, March 3rd. A review will be completed in class.
The quiz will cover the last sections of Fluids including the following sections:
2.11, 2.12, 2.14, 2.15, 2.16, 2.17, 2.18, 2.19, 2.20, 2.21, and 2.23.
The next unit that will be studied is Optics.

Grade 8 Science Assignment

The assignment on the Confederation Bridge is due on February 21st. This assignment was started in class. Students went to the computer lab for two classes to do this project. Any student who did not complete their work during the two classes was asked to finish the assignment at home.

SIS Science Fair Proposals

The new deadline for the proposlas for the SIS Science Fair is Wednesday, February 6th. Proposal sheets are still available in our science class.

Grade 9 Science Quiz

Science 105 and 106 will write their quiz on Day 1 Friday, February 8th. This is a new date, due to the recent ice storm. The first date for the quiz was Day 1, Tuesday February 5th.

Grade 7 Science Quiz

Science 313 and 309 will write their science quiz on Wednesday, February 6th. This is the quiz that was scheduled for Wednesday, January 30th but is rescheduled to February 6th due to the ice storm.
